Q. What can a website do for my business?

We offer a number of site features that allow you to accomplish
the above. In many cases an online
application may be developed as part of your website

Q. Which package is right for me?
A. That depends entirely on your budget,
the size of the site you would like to have, and how much
control you would like to have over the information on your
site. We have design packages starting at $699. Please review

Q. What other costs are associated with having
a website?
A. An average site costs $250-300 per year
to maintain. After the initial setup, the only costs are
hosting (typically around $20 per month), your domain name
(typically $20-30 per year) and any maintenance fees that
may apply. This is why it can be important to setup regularly
changing areas of your site with our content
management system.
Should you decide to process transactions online using
e-commerce, typical monthly costs from transaction processors
are in the $40 range.
It is our policy to be completely up front. There are no
hidden costs in the sites we develop. Please contact us

Q. What about domain names?
A. We handle all of the technical details
of acquiring an appropriate domain name for your site so
that all you have to worry about is payment. Names with
a Dot COM extension typically cost less than $20 per year
and names with a Dot CA extension typically cost approximately
$30 per year.
Q. Can I start simple and add more features later?
A. Absolutely. All of our sites are designed
with the utmost scalability in mind. Should you wish to
start with a basic site and add content management features,
e-commerce or any of our other features at a later date,
simply let us know of your intentions.
Q. Who provides the content for my site?
A. This responsibility ultimately lies
with you. Once a specification has been arrived at for your
site, you will be responsible for coming up with verbage
for each section. It is preferred that this information
be sent to us in digital format via e-mail, Word document
or other recognized computer format. As an option, we do
offer content authoring services at an additional cost.
Q. What about photography?
A. Professional looking pictures can be
the difference between a good site and a great one. In most
cases we may use our large stock photography collection
to find images appropriate to your business. As part of
designing your site, we will also spend up to a half hour
photographing necessary elements of your business. You may
also provide your own pictures of anything to be shown on
your site.
In other cases it is recommended that a professional photographer
be hired to take critical images. We would be happy to recommend
a photographer should one be necessary
Q. Okay, I want a site. How long before it can
be online?
A. Most projects can be online within two
to four weeks. The design process typically takes less than
a week. Depending on how many, if any content management
features you select additional time may be required. Other
than that, the majority of time is taken up during the content
authoring stage. This is why if you are facing a deadline
that you start thinking about writing verbage for your site
during the design process.
Once we have all content, it is usually only a matter of
days while we build the remainder of your site using that
information. From that point it is only a matter of securing
a domain name and hosting service and then your site may
be launched.
Q. Once I have a site, how do people find it?
A. In order for your website to be as effective
as it can for you, it is important to get the word out to
those who would be interested in it. The first step is to
ensure that your domain name is on all business cards, invoices,
letter heads, and other stationary. From there, you should
get properly listed in and optimized for the major search
engines and consider some of the advertising options available
to you. As part of all new site designs, we provide search
engine listing and optimization as well as free consultation
on how to promote your new site.

Q. What if I have an existing site with another
provider?
A. No problem. Should you be interested
in our services, please contact us to discuss how we can
work with your current provider. In almost all cases, the
switch may be made painlessly.
