Over the past several days, Sobkow Technologies has spearheaded an online petition initiative in support of Canadian World Championship Hockey Team Captain Shane Doan. For more on the issue itself, please see this story on CTV.ca.
Within 24 hours of it's launch Wednesday evening, the site had garnered nearly 10,000 signatures from all points in Canada. Thanks to extensive media coverage from coast-to-coast, on just it's second full day the site was viewed by over 22,000 unique visitors. When all was said and done at the petition's close on Monday evening over 30,000 Canadians had lended their names.
